D20-6-31 Pure Diamond 3/4" Dome Tweeter

Yes a pure Diamond Driver! The new D 20-6 has a membrane made of a single piece of pure diamond. It goes from 2 kHz to almost 100 kHz and shows harmonic distortion magnitudes lower than conventional tweeters. The stiffness to weight ratio of the membrane is about five times higher than even the extremely rigid ceramic drivers. The sound propagation in the diamond material is almost 18,000 m/sec, the highest in any existing material. The D20-6 is manufactured to the exact specifications of the C12 (see below). It may be used as an upgrade to existing loudspeaker boxes using the C12. Frequency range is extended to almost 100 kHz. Ferrofluid loaded for increased power handling. Distortion figures are magnitudes below usual tweeters, even well below the respected C12 which many people already consider to be the best tweeter of the high-end world.

1" super tweeter. Featuring usable response out to 30 kHz, this unit still has a remarkably low 700 Hz Fs and exceptionally flat response down to 2 kHz. Cone breakup occurs well over 20 kHz.
